DENGAN METODE DPPH ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY TEST OF THE COMBINATION OF ACTIVE FRACTION OF PAPAYA (Carica papaya L.) AND OF ACTIVE FRACTION MORINGA STEM BARK (Moringa oleifera L) USING DPPH METHOD

Abstract
Tanaman Indonesia banyak yang berpotensi memiliki aktivitas antioksidan, antara lain tanaman pepaya (Carica papaya L.) dan tanamanakelor ( Moringanoleifera L). Tanaman pepaya dan kelor mengandung metabolit sekunder yang mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menguji aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak/fraksi aktif dari batang pepaya dan kulit batang kelor sebagai antioksidan dengan DPPH. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental, menentukan aktivitas penghambatan antioksidan tertinggi kombinasi ekstrak dan fraksi aktif batang pepaya dan kulit batang kelor dengan pelarut yang berbeda polaritasnya dengan metode spektrofotometri dengan senyawa DPPH. Berdasarkan uji antioksidan menggunakan DPPH didapatkan kombinasi ekstrak batang pepaya dan ekstrak kulit batang kelor yang paling poten sebagai antioksidan yaitu perbandingan (1:2) nilai IC50 47,517 µg/mL dan kombinasi fraksi etil asetat batang pepaya dan kulit batang kelor perbandingan 1:2 memiliki nilai IC50 31,590 µg/mL,
